Why Read the Old Testament?

In the New Testament, we read about Jesus’ life, death, and resurrection and what it means for the life of his Church. But is there any point for Christians to read the Old Testament if we already have the New Testament? In this seminar, we will look at what the authors of the New Testament writings have to say about this question.

Dylan Friesen

Dylan grew up in Hamilton, ON with his parents and three sisters. During his first year in kinesiology at McMaster University, he felt a strong call to pursue full-time ministry and ended up transferring to Briercrest College where he earned a BA in Biblical Studies. He has a deep passion for studying and teaching the Scriptures and hopes to continue his studies in the future. He currently lives in Caronport with his wife and son.
