Since we were little, we’ve all been met with the question, what do you want to be when you grow up? Fast forward and for some it’s, “what do you want to do after school? What’s your five year plan?” Let’s be honest, YOU HAVE NO CLUE. This has lead to generations of people placing unnecessary pressures on themself. During this talk we’re putting the squeeze on identity to see what comes from it and apply that to a practical and biblical perspective.

SCRIBE is a Jamaican-born, Canadian Recording Artist and speaker currently hailing from the Greater Vancouver Area of BC. Known for his story-telling, Scribe seeks to share a breakthrough narrative one song at a time. Troy Lydiate is a father of two, a husband to his wife of 7 years and an adoptee from Kingston, Jamaica. An eclectic upbringing has lead to a diverse sound and a movement that Scribe likes to call UNEKLIU. Whether in the church or in the marketplace, Scribe aims to use his gifts to be a bridge that leads others into the knowledge that they have been set apart with a Kingdom purpose. I learned from Tetris that when you try to fit in, you disappear.
